Summer Wardrobe Loves
I made a decision this summer. Shorts were no longer for me. I had to face up and move on. My new summer love is something along the lines of the items below. I had an Etsy moment today and found these along the way. Colourful, light and easy on the eye. Thought you might enjoy them too!
Found on Etsy @ Cosy Style
I have also been professing my love for maxi skirts over here.
How about you...any summer loves in your wardrobe?
:))
Those are beautiful. They are very similar to what I wear each summer. I love the feel of dresses and skirts swooshing against my legs rather than the constriction of shorts. Enjoy your new clothes! xx
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE these Jeanne...never been much of a fan of shorts, so this is right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! It is funny that you made the decision about shorts, because a few years ago I decided that unless it is an emergency or freezing outside I will not wear pants! I prefer skirts, and dresses. I think it suits my figure better. I have a few caftans like these and I love wearing them! I am sure that you will look fabulous!have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely colors and prints that really look cool to wear!! I've stopped wearing short too, which has given me milk-legs.... :-)
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer wardrobe staples are white linen cropped pants, Mexican tops with embroidery, big hoops, lots of bangles, and jeweled flip flops.
Enjoyed visiting,

White Spray Paint
Surfer chic summer dress for me. I'm wearing it now!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is a fancy dress party - Austin Powers theme. My outfit is err... how can I put it... Well, let's just say I'm also wearing a headscarf and dark glasses so hopefully nobody recognises me!!
I can't do shorts any more either - my legs are passed their sell-by-date! It's been so hot the last few days I've been alternating between maxi skirts and harem pants but I would love a fabulous floor-length kaftan.
ReplyDeleteI am totally in love with this year's flounces and long gypsy skirts. It's an easy style on everyone.

ReplyDeleteI think I'd even break my '100 day don't buy anything you don't really need' challenge for these Jeanne. They're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love skirts and dresses, however in the classroom playing around on the floor, bending down to tie shoes, etc. pants are more practical. I have been known to take a nose-dive over a child trying to avoid falling on the child. Landing with your skirt over you head is not a pretty sight. Even kind of scary!
ReplyDeleteDear lady, what you are showing us.....ARE right up my alley. Love it.

I'll take the blue one and the green one. All this bike riding to keep my thighs presentable (I can't even say slim!) is taking too much time out of my day. I shall capitulate and resort to your fabulous attire :)
ReplyDeleteLinen pants. I cannot live without them. And maxi dresses, of course. The longer, the better.
ReplyDeleteAgreed - shorts are not for me either. I don't think I could find a more unflattering thing to put on.
ReplyDeleteAnd seeing these, I wonder why I would! These are beautiful, and seem so cool and flowing. Summer.
I also agree with Angie, linen pants!
