Sarah's Gift To Me

A little ray of sunshine graced my doorstep this morning
as I discovered a package all the way from Australia. Lucky me,
I won a give away from the delightful Sarah at Semi Expat in Oz.

It could not have come at a more perfect time.
I had just finished a long conversation by phone with my lovely
Miss Christine who is now in the middle of a heat wave in Auckland.
Cold in London and missing her I was delighted to see this outside my door.

Two lovely sheets of paper with scenes of Paris
in just the spot where Christine and I had stayed just a few weeks ago.

and this reminded me of a walk we took thru the Jardin des Tuileries
Librairie des jardins aux Tuileries

I was fascinated by the sculptures....
this one reminded me to watch what I eat...

and of course it reminded me of
my fellow in the red scarf...

I say
Merci Beaucoup!

  5. Hi Jeanne,
You were the perfect person to win that giveaway. So perfect that you had just been to Paris and a lovely suprise after your daughter going back to NZ. I bet it cheered you up no end.
.... and more brilliant photographs of your trip. I'm so pleased that you showed the elderly man in the red scarf again. I LOVE him !! XXXX
