Guest post...'24 hours in Saigon'
Carla Coulson |
Two months ago, the lovely Carla Coulson @ Carla Loves Photography
asked if I would write a guest post for her... '24 hours in Saigon'.
It took me all of two seconds to consider. She is a sweetheart!
I had met Carla earlier in the year, on a rainy night in Paris
with Vicki Archer @ French Essence.
Vicki Archer |
It was one of those nights that stays with you.
It was the night...it was Paris.
Carla and Vicki live in France and have that
Paris chic way about them. They are style personified,
comfortable in who they are and what they wear.
The very best kind of style.
We talked, we laughed..it was a wonderful occasion
for three women who met via the blogging world.
So...when Carla asked if I would create a guest post,
I thought of a night in Paris...and happily said yes.
My first guest post.
Carla made it very easy for me,
200 words, 8 photos. I love simple!
You can read '24 hours in Saigon' here.
I linked-in to a post dedicated to my favourite things
to see and do in Saigon. You can read my list here.
As I sign off from Chateau Mango...
Warm wishes from Saigon..
Jeanne xx

With thanks to another blogging friend, Millie...who sent this video clip
my way when I first heard we were moving to Vietnam.
It meant the world to me...it still does. You can read about it here.
Oh you lucky girl. I"ve met dear Carla several times over the past three years and adore her. I still have my fingers crossed that I will one day meet Vicki as well. I saw your fabulous photos on Carla's blog today. What an eye you have. Beautiful images with so much emotion captured.

Thank you Virginia..from you, I take that as a very high compliment. I love your work. :)
DeleteHello Jeanne. I'm up early this morning with a cup of coffee reading your latest blog posts. Somehow, life has gotten in the way of visiting here. With the new grandbabies living so close it's hard not to drop everything and just breathe in their freshness.
ReplyDeleteSo this morning, I woke up thinking to myself, it's time to visit Jeanne before the day is filled. Such a good decision. I've enjoyed your photos, here and at Carla's, and reading about your life in Saigon. You make me smile, often followed with a sigh, and glad to have found you and your blog. Thank you. xo Carole
I can see why you have been so busy Carole..I also see some great artworks happening at your place. You are always a source of inspiration to me Carole..no question.. kindred spirits. :)

Hello Jeanne
ReplyDeleteOh to have been a fly on the wall when you, Carla and Vicki were together. Carla's suggestion for this post is wonderful as we see your life in Vietnam. I'm particularly fond of your view through the window at Chateau Mango.
It warms the heart to read of the actual friendships formed through the blogsphere.
