Hello from snowy New Hampshire!
We had some pretty exciting celebrations over the weekend, our little Aussie grandson, Cooper, turned one!
It just happened to coincide with this lovely gift from a long time blogging friend, Jane of Planet Joy in Tasmania. It is just the sweetest thing and will pop into my suitcase for my next trip to Australia which is coming up soon. If you would like to explore Jane's Etsy shop you can find her here. Thank you Jane! xx

Happy Birthday!
I love love this cake made by my daughter in law for Cooper's birthday. She bought a few sponge cakes at the supermarket, stacked them and the rest was her creative flair. Those little bumble bees are adorable!
Happy Birthday Cooper! |
A first!
Speaking of adorable...Cooper also recently received his first postcard, a long standing family tradition in our family. Mr. H sends postcards to the kids when he travels, which is frequently and it has been going on for years. Our kids have quite a collection...ones they will treasure for many years to come. Cooper is holding his first, from Rio de Janeiro, the photo, snapped by my son, as a memory of Cooper's first postcard from his grandfather, Beau Pa.
I am feeling it...the time is right for a POSTCARD mailing
If you have been following Collage of Life for a while you can probably guess where I am going with this. In honor of Cooper's first birthday and first postcard, I would love to send my own postcard to my blogging buddies.

Where your postcard will be from is a surprise. I am finally reunited with all my postcards in one place and there are many! This time around I will be adding an inspirational quote to each from my little book of hope.
If you have been on my postcard mailing list in the past, you may have one from England, Morocco, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, France, Australia, New Zealand or all of them. I love sending postcards! I will tell you that it will be postmarked from New Hampshire. :))
In my postcard stash... |
If you received a postcard from me in the past, just let me know and I will refer to my mailing list. Could you also confirm if your address is the same? If not, you can email me jeannecollageoflife@gmail.com
If this will be your first postcard from me, send me an email too, I will need your address!
I am so so excited!!
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead...
Jeanne xx

Coming soon Louise!! :))
DeleteI love this photo of your grandson, now that is a keeper. What a wonderful tradition to have in your family. I always send postcards to my parents when traveling it is a lot art but something that is special for me and them as well. I keep, as do many the post cards that I receive from friends and use them as bookmarks and they always bring a smile to my face. I have been the lucky recipient of several of your cards and I always enjoy them, first because you took the time to send it, second because I love the image, third because you have beautiful penmanship and fourth because I love mail.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend Jeanne.
Mail coming to you soon Elizabeth, always a pleasure... :))
DeleteI'd ask for a postcard but I'm terrible with the post office which means I'd never reply which means I'd feel terrible...
ReplyDeletewhich would subvert your generous intention. So I will live vicariously through the photos from your blog, which are gorgeous.
I know the feeling Lisa...I haven't been to the post office in two days. Feeling withdrawals.. ;)
