Midlife Wisdom and Paris
Two thoughts are before me this fine day.
Midlife and Paris.
How fun is that?
Midlife Wisdom
I am changing my tune and mixing it up a bit over @ B-Well.
I have a lot on my mind and it is about wellness...in midlife.
Am I having a midlife crisis? Who knows?
I like to think of it as one of the wonderful stages of life.
Even better, one of the many stages of ageing gracefully.
Sounds better to me :)
If you need to get your groove back or just keep it, come join me.
It is going to be my source of inspiration where I write about health,
wellbeing, beauty, fashion and more. Basically, whatever it takes
for this Midlife Mama to get her groove back.
More here
and on a lighter note...
PARIS
My sweet seventeen year old, Claire and I are
off on a Mother and Daughter adventure to Paris.
She wants to see the Eiffel Tower and sample french pastry.
I want her to fall in love with Paris and I have three days
to complete my mission.
Wish me luck!
:) :) :)

I am pretty sure Paris is not a place I'll ever see in my life.
ReplyDeletesounds lovely though and what a fun thing for you and your daughter to do.
I am 59, certainly interested in well-being. I am a little 'panicky' about turning 60 next year. kinda frightening, not because of the AGE
but because I'm 'not there yet' with myself
Have a great time! Ahh, Paris. How fun the two of you are going ;)
ReplyDeleteThree days should be more than enough time to accomplish that particular goal! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this post. The painting is super fun and full of life... and Ahhh, midlife, I'm loving it!! And I don't think you need to worry about your daughter getting into Paris ;) have fun on your one-of-many journey!!
ReplyDeleteDear Jeanne,
ReplyDeleteI on't think that you will need much luck on your mission....Paris sells itself !! She will fall in love with it like the rest of us.
Have a lovely mum and daughter time. XXXX
Oh I'd love to go to Paris with my daughter.
ReplyDeleteParis sounds awesome to me :)
ReplyDeleteYou do THE neatest things!! I know of so many people who have gone there lately...my next door neighbor among them. She had a ball! Hope you do too!! I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to do this with your daughter!
ReplyDelete=)
Seventeen and Paris - who needs luck! I had a weekend in Paris with my grownup daughter a while ago. It was heaven! Did a bit of shopping, went to the ballet and gawped at Chagall's lovely ceiling, wandered round an enormous flea market on Sunday morning, (a bit more shopping!)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely time and do tell us all about it when you return home. (I want to see what you've bought.)
Hi Jeanne, what a fabulous place to visit with your daughter, I hope you both have a wonderful time.

Lucky you two. Wishing you a wonderful time. Huzz and are trying to plan a little getaway to Paris sometime soon. So long since I visited.
ReplyDeleteDear Jeanne,
ReplyDeleteI haven't even met you in person and you have made me love Paris even more than I do.
Enjoy Paris and your sweet daughter!
Thanks for this lovely post. I hope you have a fantastic trip. I am in my 30's and my mom and I STILL take trips like this. I can't wait to hear how it went!

Oh Jeanne, I swear we lead similar lives at different times! One of my daughters loves all things French and is fluent in the language. Her first trip to Paris was at the same age of your daughter. We've been back a couple of times since and we're talking about another French adventure in June. Have a wonderful adventure!
ReplyDeleteI think I have passed midlife ( at least I hope so) and these days I feel no pressure. I just live each day as it comes and two of those involve yoga.
