Her gown was exquisite; what an example for every bride who thinks she needs to be bare and falling out of her gown at the altar in order to be "sexy." What lovely respect towards God and her elders.
Her dress simplistically beautiful, my only complaint is why did she have to diet down to a size 6. Because prior to that dreadful weight loss she looked perfectly normal.
It was gorgeous and lived up to high expectations. I woke up in time to see the procession to Buckingham Palace on TV and then saw other clips online. The photo you posted is the best one I've seen of Kate in her gown. Thanks for sharing.
The whole celebration was divine! The dress couldn't have been more elegant, timeless, and classic...perfectly proportioned to her body. What lines! What grace!
Can I just say....that I so enjoy what YOU have to say. If you would like to write to me directly, I would love to hear from you... jeannecollageoflife@gmail.com
Yes, ain't it gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI watched the live coverage in parts, Jeanne. Lovely to see the couple in love graduate into marriage.
ReplyDeleteThe dress was very simple and quite elegant.
Joy always,

It really was beautiful. The dress and the girl. Well, and the boy and the church and even David Beckham... ;-)
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!

ReplyDeleteTruly gorgeous! We got up at 0400 and were captivated by the elegant simplicity.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful wedding. It couldn't have been more perfect.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to think we were all switched on, at the same time....around the world :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have seen the wedding but I was at work. Kate's dress was simple but absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovley! Bellisima mujer en un vestido increíble! Un beso, Gloria
ReplyDeleteThe dress was fabulous! Fitting for the occassion and so beautiful on such a beautiful young woman. I hope they have a lifetime of happiness together.

ReplyDeleteI watched it this morning too, and thought it was just lovely--But I'm not so sure about the hat that Princess Beatrice wore....
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Kate's dress! I hope it starts a whole new trend in wedding gowns.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Kim, Beatrice's hat already has its own Facebook page--something like "Princess Beatrice's Ridiculous Wedding Hat." :)
I blogged about the wedding too...

It was a cracker :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks stunning. I watched the whole thing from start to finish, what a loving couple, they just enthused love and happiness.
ReplyDeleteI loved the You Tube video of them leaving for Clarence House in Prince Charles Aston Martin with the top down. What a fun thing to do!
Wasn't it a splendid affair, and the bride and groom both looked truly happy. Ahhh.
