Perfect Order

I just can't help myself
There is something about making perfect order
out of chaos that just makes me shine from the inside out.
I love thinking about it...
and wishing Mary Poppins was around to make it happen!

Wishing you a weekend filled
with fun and laughter
and a little 'me' time.

J:)

  4. It's a Virgo thing Jeanne!!! I can't help myself...I'm not even able to have a conversation whilst standing next to my LAB's desk without straightening everything to right angles as I'm speaking....some people I know would describe it not as 'perfect order' but more 'obsessive compulsive DISorder'.....x

  5. Susie..I have moved into cluster mode. A broad sweep of assorted items and then organise to distraction. One of these days I will find a home for all these objects. This must be the difference of living in the southern vs. northern hemispheres. In the southern it was all clean surfaces and now that I am here I seem to be nesting (with order) all around the house. I feel like a squirrel!

  6. They are all wonderful! It's taken me sooo long, but I think I finally have it- less really is more. We did a major purge last fall and it feels great having a space for everything. Now, having said that- I shouldn't bring another thing into this house... and that's the hard part!

  8. So I am loving the kitchen in that last photo. How I would love to walk in there every morning for my first cup of Joe.

  9. Me too! The occasional times when it's just me in the house, I do peaceful, joyful reordering. I never used to appreciate it till the peace ran short. Now a mere empty hook gladdens me with its sense of opportunity.

  13. I fear those displays are only possible in books, they do not happen in real life. And besides Mary would need Marth's help to keep the order maintained in my home.

  14. This is gorgeous and I agree Mary Poppins would have been hired immediately, if...

The first and the last pictures have been instantly saved and... wanted.

  15. It is said that your surroundings are a reflection of your mind....I'm not surprised that these are the images that you are drawn to. Any photos you've shown of your previous home have been exquisite, tasteful and warm.

I, on the other hand am attempting to demonstrate a sort of refugee/GFC/soup kitchen/toys 'r' us/shabby chic, which I'm hoping to make wildly popular by talking about on popular blogs such as yours. Vogue Living...I'm ready when you are. Meredy xo.

  16. I dream of this...! Its a constant goal in my life but one that I never seem to reach...there's always another cupboard to clear!

  17. What a lovely selection of photographs. I love having everything organized and in its proper place. Baskets are wonderful for this.

Hope you're having a great weekend!
